
Amanda Bluglass (a.k.a Billie) is a former BBC journalist and award-winning filmmaker whose work has screened at international festivals and broadcast worldwide. With a reputation for bringing out authentic human stories, she creates films that are visually striking and emotionally compelling.

She is experienced across TV commercials, short docs, social media, stop motion, promos, corporate marketing, music videos and experimental installations, with clients as varied as NIKE, NASA and the London Olympics.
Passionate about sharing her knowledge and inspiring others, for the past two decades she held the post of Associate Lecturer in Filmmaking and Creative Media at University of Plymouth.
She is also known for a series of award-winning short films about real people whose stories inspire us to think about getting older in new and surprising ways.
In 2016 she was honoured with a Parity award for Social Justice for Out of Order, her feature documentary about queer American pastors seeking ordination.
